Has anyone tried these? I read that Pepe Romero Jr. installs these strings on his ukuleles, so that sounds like a pretty good endorsement to me. I see that they are a new product for La Bella, and not to be confused with their previous ukulele strings,.. am I right?

I'm going to order a set for my Pono tenor. They are cheaper than the Worth strings I usually used.

Haven't heard much about them but LaBella has a wider selection of Ukulele strings including the new Uke-Pro series. More info can be found here. I believe they're still nylon but the formulations for the Uke-Pro series may be different. If anyone has any additional info on them, comments will be most welcomed.

The LaBella strings sound pretty good for finger picking. They have some really nice note clarity. Had them on my Pepe. But, they lack much sustain and if strummed, they sound like the rectified nylons they are.

I recently changed out the LaBella strings on my Pepe for SouthCoast ML. It was a good change for me.
