Don't worry too much just remember without the black powder (amongst many other things) copied from the chinese those western savages would have gotten nowhere. All they could was drown the chinese empire in opium to throw them off their A game. History shows that in the early years of the U.S. of A they considered foreign products superior and imported technology from the british empire and europe and reverse engineered most of it and copied/knocked off what they could. After a while they got good/knowledgable/creative/experienced enough to come up with their own stuff. We repeat history and tend to forget that we are/where indifferent. China will be the next superpower/empire and "ours" is on its way out - why should it be different than any other civilization before?
