First of all, the ukulele is made of very beautiful milo wood with a spruce top. It's a very well-crafted uke with great sound and projection, and it feels very comfortable in my arms. The fretboard is very smooth along the edges.

Aaron did a fantastic inlay job with the koi. I wanted carp because they have a very good symbolic meaning in Japan. There are four fish swimming along the fretboard and one swimming around the sound hole, plus a couple smaller koi on the back of the ukulele.

I would not hesitate in recommending Aaron if you want to commission a custom made uke, especially with artistic inlay.
