Hi...
Although I am new to the forum, I've been a follower of the underground for months. I've only been playing a tenor uke few a months and enjoy it very much. My wife picked me up a used second hand solid body electric tenor uke a few weeks ago from somewhere.
I know she did it cause it looked cool. I cleaned it up and started researching what strings to use. Nowhere can I find info on this. So, I just started trying out different combination for a gCEA sound.
I've been successful with the exception of the "C" string. Although I can tune it to get the "C" note.....it vibrates for what seems like FOREVER; to the point it drowns out the other strings while being strummed or picked...plugged or unplugged to amp.
Anyone have any advice? It is really fun to play but the "C" string issue is bringing me down. My strings are steel electric strings g-.28 C-.41 E- .41 A-.28.
Thanks for any input.
