The ukulele community lost one of our own last week. Kristin Batdorf, a regular at L.A.U.G.H. (Lansing Area Ukulele Group), and MMUGS Group (Mid-Michigan Ukulele Group Strum) was tragically killed in a murder-suicide.

Police say Kristin Batdorf was killed in a murder-suicide on Thursday in Lansing. As the community starts to heal people are trying to remember Batdorf through the things she loved, including music...

How very tragic and sad. Especially feel bad for their little boy. Yes, music can certainly play a part in the healing process.

That is super sad. Tearfully sad. In reading further, I see that she was a chiropractic doctor, an active member of her community and, of course, a mother. To use the word "was" for a young, vibrant lady is a tragedy.

Thank you for sharing that, Seeso.
