Strings Ukulele String Comparisons Spreadsheet

Bill,
Though I appreciate your doing this, I'm unable to access the file. The message I get from Google Chrome is, "Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist." Are you able to reply with an updated link?
@NOTLguy moved it to Dropbox in 2021 https://www.dropbox.com/s/mi6fqasdsdmxjbj/Ukulele String Comparison Chart.pdf?dl=0

See https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...ng-comparisons-spreadsheet.97395/post-2265923

@Ed1 also posted his version: https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...ng-comparisons-spreadsheet.97395/post-2291675

Please take a look at http://ed1.cc/Ukulele/StringTension/
That will take you to the pdf of the string tension spreadsheet I did a few years ago.
If anyone is interested in the spread sheet in excel format, pm me.

I'm about to close down the website in 10 days, so if you want the excel file, you might want to look at the URL above to understand it better.

P.S. You might also be interested in http://ed1.cc/Ukulele/Pineapple/Creation.html which shows David Hanson's creation of my soprano pineapple which is tied with my Kamaka for my favorite soprano.

I think that the Ed1 sheet was fairly up to date and comprehensive. Hopefully there is a thread somewhere that has it posted on the forum and not only the external link that is now gone.

I used the internet wayback machine to search, and all I found was the explanation pdf. There are no hits for the link listed in the explanation.

Hi, amazing work on the tension pdf. Its very helpful. On the PDF linked by man0a, the lighter guage Super Nylgut 100u Soprano set has more tension than the heavier guage Super Nylgut 103u Tenor set. Is this a mistake? Another is the Daddario EJ65S Soprano set which has considerably more tension than EJ65C Concert set, while again being lighter gauge. Coincidentally these are two of the sets im considering buying. Thanks Alot
