I've been a musician (voice, piano, guitar) my whole life, and never felt a strong urge to play the ukulele until I discovered the banjolele a couple of weeks ago. I got one, and I can't put it down! Looking forward to learning from all of you.

Greetings and welcome. Lots of banjo ukers here. I have a soprano and a concert size. Want to improve your strumming, learn some Formby style on YouTube. I like young Lewis Clifton's tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrLewisc10

God I know how this goes! My guitar's full of dust! Congrats!

Thanks for the welcome! Phil, I just started watching the Formby videos/tutorials...this is so much fun...

Welcome to the UU forums! It's always great to see another Banjolele player in the midst.

Greetings from Chicago! Are you going to the Great Midwest Ukefest on August 3? Search "Chicago Ukulele Cabaret" on Facebook!

Hi there! I'm also in the Chicago area, and have two vintage banjo ukes -- an S. S. Stewart and a Slingerland Maybelle. (they're very loud, especially the Maybelle, which has steel strings!)
