Thank you. Can anyone help identify the song please?

It's mostly just vamping and doodling. There's a brief phrase or two from Duke Ellington's Don't Get Around Much Anymore.

Sounds REALLY close.. but probably just doodling like stevepetergal mentioned
Yeah, MGM would do that a lot to demo his ukes... just throw out licks and chord progressions and such.

It's Tin Man - America

It's the vamp played when they sing "spinning round, round...." etc.

Best,

Sean

There are several bits he plays. I don't know what the fast strumming bit is: it s the same two-chord progression that pervades America's "Tin Man", and if that is what it is (no reason to doubt itsme or Sean) then some uke biggie must have done an iconic cover, because so many uke players play this riff and always in the exact same way. But compare to this well-done uke cover of "Tin Man:

Not quite the same, and other covers of "Tin Man" don't quite match the popular riff, either, so despite the similarity, I suspect it's from something else.

The 20's number (1927, to be precise) is "Ain't She Sweet":

I heard a little bit of Ain't She Sweet, and before that, a little bit of Don't Get Around Much Anymore.
