Song Help Request Picking/Strumming

Hi There!

I'm an intermediate uke player, and I'm interested in some intermediate songs that include picking, and strumming. I have already learned one (Tears in Heaven) which includes picking and strumming (the tutorial on UU is really good!) but playing the same song gets boring after a while.

Do any of you have any suggestions on intermediate songs with picking and strumming?

Just search the net. BUT.....would be nice to have a section on the forum for picking/strumming or chord melody!!

Ukulelezaza's two books are arrangements in a style that mixes picking and strumming, and they are at the intermediate level. A DVD comes with the book.

If you travis pick the chords for the verse of Hotel California and strum the Chorus it sounds amazing too.

You should definitely check out Uke Hunt's tabs: http://ukulelehunt.com/tab-chords/

They are sorted by difficulty and by genre. A lot of them are mixture of picking and strumming. I find his arrangements most comfortable to learn!
