Working in a prison, I'm a hand-washing fanatic. And now it's the dead of winter, the air has almost zero humidity, and we have anti-bacterial soap (without moisturizer). As a result, the backs of my hands get so dry my hands nearly split open.

To combat that, I carry a tube of gold bond ultimate skin therapy cream. It's good stuff. But if I forget to put it on between hand washings, my hands pay the price.

Yes it is greasy. You have to wipe the grease off.

One application lasts half an OCD work day.

Only prob with the grease is where I work with keys constantly.
