I spoke with him, but he said he knew nothing about any meeting. WTF?

So I came home, and wrote my buddy an e-mail apologizing for missing the meeting. After a while, he wrote back. He had been to the meeting, looked for me, called his son to try to get my phone number, then just went to the meeting without me. I don't get it. How can he have attended a meeting that the employee knew nothing about?

I feel like an idiot....

I'm terribly bored. My butt has worn a dent in the couch this week. This being sick is boooooring. I'm going back to work tomorrow, finally. Tired of playing on FB and watching TV. I'm a good patient and know how to conserve my energy but this has gone on too long. Today's trip to the dentist with a stop at the vet for pet meds about knocked me on my ass though. I only work a 5 hour shift tomorrow so that won't be too hard.

Rafe report:
Started my shopping list for this weekend. Going to buy all the supplies necessary for turkey day. Thursday will just be the family but on Sunday a whole crapload of friends and family will be here. So on Thursday I will be preparing huge amounts of food in anticipation of Sunday. I think I will smoke a pork butt on Saturday to add to the buffet. I have a couple vegans in the fam so I think 3 dressings are in order. Lots of new recipes I've been collecting that I want to try also.

Oh gosh, the anticipation of cooking for a huge crowd gets me all excited. I just love it.
