QUESTION OF THE DAY

Are you named after anyone in particular? If you had been opposite gender, do you know what your parents would have named you? What does your name mean? Does the description suit you? http://www.babynamewizard.com/baby-name

I was named after two of my aunts. If I had been a boy my name would have been William Carl. My name means bitter. I think it does suit me sometimes. It is also been referred to as meaning sea of sorrow.

Gary means "spear"

Yoneo is "Lucky" lucky rice or something like that, it has something to do with "yo" I'd have to go back and look it up because Yoshida might be the rice field part.

Got it:

Anglicized form of the Gaelic Domhnall (world ruler), which is thought to be derived from the primitive Celtic Dumno-valo-s (world mighty). Alternatively, some believe the name to be derived from the Gaelic don (brown).

My name is from my dad and grandpa yet we all have different middle names. They didnt want the jr and III and all that.

It means handsome.

Of Scottish origin, Kenneth is the Anglicized form of the Gaelic Cinaed and Cionaed (born of fire), and Coinneach and Caoineach (comely, handsome).

Kinda funny since I flame work....

I thought your name was Jerry??

A pet form of any of the various names beginning with the element Jer-. Jerry is also bestowed as an independent given name. Var: Gerry.

1. My dad had an uncle named Willie. He thought he was a cool guy and he had a cool name. Also, he liked that it sounded like an old blues man's name. True story.
2. I would have been Willie, male or female. Glad things worked out the way they did!
3. William means "resolute protector." I am fiercely protective of my family, so, yes.

Side note: My actual full name is Robert William. Both of my grandfathers had Robert in their names, so I wasn't getting around that one. Though I have always been Willie, my dad had the foresight not to go with William Robert so that kids did not call me Billy Bob on the playground.

My siblings and I were very deliberately NOT named after anybody - but there was a stipulation that my siblings insisted on. My name had to start with J because all theirs did (Jeff, Jim, Jacqui, Jodi). I'm not sure what my girl name would have been - I should ask my mom. My middle name was originally going to be Kent, but then my parents realized that was a brand of cigarettes. (It's Mark). My name means Gift of God. I can't comment on that without sounding like an arrogant bastard.

I was told I was named after a friend of my mother -- both first and middle names. My name means lily. No, I don't think it is quite appropriate for me.

At the pain clinic. Mom is getting an injection. I'm so hopeful that she may get some relief! Pain relief means better sleep, easier to exercise, better moods, etc. Please Jesus let it work.

I am very excited about the addition of cannabis patches and rubs being produced in Colorado. They are made with and without the halucigenic affect. I think this is something that is really going to benefit many.

I'm always bemused when I hear people talking about pot having hallucinogenic effects. Am I missing something?
