Thanks. That might work for me if I can raise my monitor high enough that my laptop fits underneath. Did the specialist suggest the main monitor be at eye level? I notice my neck getting sore because my last monitor stood a little higher and now I'm looking down a little.

She was pretty much in favor of eye level between the two monitors with the proper tilt. I think it would depend on your own usage. I still have to refer to the upper one a lot, so I don't want it too high - the more you have it as your occasional/reference only the higher I would put things (so the lower monitor is more at eye level. The stand I have has LOTS more room to raise things higher. I'll see if I can find the link to what I got.

Your condescension is unbecoming.

Other than old pictures I have little after my mother's death. She had been in her residence for 35 years and had pared down several times. It was pretty much all done by her time of death. There was some nice jewelry that was stolen about 2 years prior. We are sad not to have some of that. She had some nice pieces that my wife wanted. I'm sorry not to be able to carry that reminder into another generation. I'm lucky in my sibs, however: honest and cooperative. They got stuck with the loser (that would be me).

Well, s** is about to get real. Had a long talk with the social worker and discharge planners and adult protective services is coming into the picture.

I'm praying my dad views this as help not condemnation.
He may get a bit testy. But really, who wouldn't. However....that doesn't mean that those things are Not needed. I see stuff like this all the time. My job seems to be keeping people in their homes whether it is the right decision or not.

Paul's dad and aunt didn't talk for years when their dad died. Money, or course, and STUFF. Shame.

My brother and I won't fight over anything. We get along great, and neither of us wants to allow stuff to stand in the way of our friendship.

Mmm. I would love to camp in a dessert type place. Screw the main dish - bring on dessert!

I caught that and decided to leave it for you to find.

I always remember it by "dessert has a little extra." My dads middle name was Forrest, that rule applied to him also.

The match teacher just came and asked me to tone down the music.

I switched from classic rock to pop hits. Think that's what she meant?

You have a match teacher? Like wrestling? Are there tag teams?

The math teacher is new to teaching but apparently was head b*tch in industry. Talks down to co-workers and feels like she should be listened to even though she's new and has no idea what's going on. She doesn't play well with others and I don't think she'll last to the end of the year from what I hear of student gossip.

Hate to be rude to old people, but "she started it first!"
