Changed U-Bass strings for the 1st time, ever

I followed Mimmo's video and changed from the roundwounds to Thunderbrowns. It was a struggle for a bit, wrestling with the strings. It took about 1.5-2 hours including fitting a new nut. I did have to open the D and G slots up on the nut.
The TBs are easier on my fingers and I don't get the buzz when changing notes I was getting sometimes.
It seems to me the TB's eliminated some of the treble frequencies.

i Like the TBs but yeah, they were kinda a pain to install

That's one of the reasons I gave up on all poly strings, they are a pain to install.
