Just got second place in a hyperbullet tournament full of people far more experienced than me.

Not bad. Especially because 0|1 is a very weird format. Very demanding in the early stages but on the other hand once a game gets going we both have spare time and I can't use my main weapon of simply flagging people.

I do suffer from that. But not tonight.

Didn't hurt that a lot of the most elite people in there just for some reason got bored and left the event.

I still had to win games though AND I showed up late. I happened to see there was an event going on and stuck my nose in.

For anyone not in the know: hyperbullet is a form of extreme speed chess. Usually means 30 second no increment but here they're using the term to mean 0 seconds 1 increment.

Feeling very buoyed up right now. Always dreamed of collecting some hyperbullet achievements but figured the speed and reaction time involved was probably above my paygrade.
