This is an extremely clean, extremely beautiful, extremely light, extremely bright, extremely resonant soprano! Yeah. That's a lot of extreme.
I'd say it's in Excellent+ condition -- VERY nice shape. The koa is SUPER curly and better looking than it even photographs. AND the Kamaka logo is straight and intact, which isn't easy to find in these older HF-1s. You'd have a hard time finding a vintage HF-1 that looks better and is in better condition than this one, IMO.
The HF-1, or STANDARD ukulele, as Kamaka calls it, IS the epitome of Hawaiian ukulele.
This damned thing practically jumps out of your hands when you play it. Tons of fun, and a great koa soprano tone.
Bought it here on the Forum a while ago, and am just not playing it enough to warrant keeping it -- I've gravitated more to concert scale.
$675, shipped. Ships to CONUS only, in the pictured, very nice hard case.
Reasonable offers considered -- I really need to keep whittling down my collection.
