Kimo Hussey Playing & checking out Custom ukuleles

Thought I'd start a thread of some videos I made when Kimo came for a visit last year. No one can make these ukes sound as good as Kimo can. Here's a video of Kimo with Kanilea's Kaneohe Bay Super Tenor.

My local uke group was blessed to have Kimo come over and do a two day workshop for us a few years back. He is such a kind and gentle teacher, and an amazing ukulele musician.

Completely off topic, but what chair is that/where did you get it? It looks super comfortable and perfect for playing uke or guitar in!

Kimo is probably my favorite living ukuleleist. He's so soft spoken, which I wouldn't expect from a guy who retired from the military. He's the Bob Ross of the ukulele world (also a retired military man). He has an extremely cool natural way of playing. No gimmicks, no flash, just good solid playing, sticking to the melody and perfect harmonization.
