RIP - Island Guitars (& Ukuleles) Honolulu ?

Anyone know why they just closed shop after 40 years in business ? (in various locations)
It was a guitar shop that stocked some Kala , Martin , and some used Hawaiian ukes .

I'm guessing they retired .
(But still gonna do repairs)
I wish them the best ; they had the Aloha spirit .

Tell me that's not so. I bought my Kamaka HF-3 there years a go. Great guys to work with.
Their web site is still up saying they're going to move but no new location. (yet)
