Showing off my awesome video skills.... or is it awesome lack of... whichever, here's a David Newton uke played by that one guy that posts here every now and then..

Thanks you two, I do appreciate it. Please feel free to share it. I think Dave makes a great uke.

Thanks Mickey, Happy New Year to you and all!

Wonderful. I'm thinking it might just be as much the player as it is the uke that sounds so good. What are you doing with your strumming hand -- thanks for the video close up, it looks like you're plucking down on G and or C and then coming up with A & E? Nice. I think I need to go back to Uncle Roy's Boot Camp and try out that plucking strum. Too bad I'm still a beginner, it may be a bit (or lot) beyond my ability.

Thanks Shirley, truthfully, I'm not sure how I would explain the picking/strum on that. It is in an alternate tuning, fCFA.

Fantastic! You rocked that!!

"It is in an alternate tuning, fCFA"

Thanks. That does make sense. (Not that you'd see me tuning that way. I have enough trouble with the standard GCEA and sometimes LowG. I'd forget which string was what!)
