Also check the Tips and Tricks section of this forum, several threads and videos there. It think trevor88 posted several not long ago specifically on different types of rolls.
A few days after I got my first ukulele I had the opportunity to join a workshop with Lil Rev in Clearwater Florida. He shared the "flipping the bird" but I can't remember what he called it. Your name for it is quite catchy and I think I will adopt it.
Thanks and great videos I recommend that others check them out.

When I first read this post, I assumed he meant rolling (spinning) a uke since I had just done such a vid. I would have asked how to do finger rolls, or ukulele rolls. No wonder there are so many misunderstandings in real life. The written word is such a complex game of multiple choice. hehe I'd love to attend a workshop by Lil Rev. I've bought a number of his books and I learned to do the fan-stroke just from his video. He's an amazing musician and great instructor.
Back in 2002, someone in NYC asked me to compose a song for Thanksgiving about flipping the bird as a kind of joke. It got animated in Flash though it's no longer on her web site. Probably a good thing. LOL That's why that expression has stuck with me after all these years. I just revived it for the ukulele spinneroo.
