You Make Me Feel So Young

Hey, very nice! You've inspired me to add that song to my repertoire. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sinatra and uke seem to go well together.

Real nice, I love these songs, they just don't write them like that anymore.

Yes. I'm always amazed at how the chord progressions fall in place. Sometimes in the beginning, just learning these songs, certain chords seem to almost be out of place. But once you get them to flow together it all makes sense.

That's so true! It worries me that music may turn into some kind of esoteric study of the past, with no contemporary examples of complex harmonies, intricate counterpoints, sweeping melodic lines, and canonic and other interesting forms. So much of popular music these days is three or four chords, accompanied by uninspired lyrics, and incessantly repetitive two bar rhythms. I have this theory that says Gene Krupa's invention of the Trap Set, together with Chuck Berry's fuzz tone guitar, killed real music for my generation. That's why I find myself living in the past, playing and loving all those great old Standards like "You Make Me Feel So Young."
