Want to trade: gold label Kamaka pineapple soprano for newer model one
Hello everyone,
I have a lightly used 60s gold label Kamaka pineapple soprano with a soft case (non-original). One piece front and back. No cracks, no repairs, everything original - a ding on one edge and very light strum marks, and light scratches on the back of the neck as if something was wearing a wedding ring while playing. There are some very light scratches in various places, the kind so light that you have to hold up to the light to see. I am looking to trade for a good condition newer model (90s and after) Kamaka, Koaloha or Koolau pineapple soprano or a similar newer model American made pineapple soprano. I am a new player and for some reason I find this uke more difficult to play than my Koaloha standard soprano. I think it is because the neck is narrower and the fret spacing is narrower, at least in comparison to my Koaloha. I don't know if this is typical of vintage models. I live in Anaheim, California. Please let me know if you are interested, thank you!
