RIP Marko van der Horst

Today I heard the very sad new that Marko had passed away at the young age of 45. Marko was half of 'Uke Box' with Shelley Rickey, and together they ran The Jumping Flea Market in Rotterdam. They were partners in life as well as in music.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marko several times at uke festivals, and he was a charming man as well as a great musician. My thoughts go out to Shelley and the rest of Marko's family.
