Hi, I'm new to the forums, but I have been playing ukulele for five years now and I have been thinking of getting the soprano Honu Ukulele by Big Island Ukulele Co. from musicguymic. It is perfect for me, and has everything I want, but I do not know what it sounds like and if it has a nice, clear, high quality sound. I'm guessing it has a better sound than my cheap laminate uke since the soprano honu is solid koa, but I would like to know what you guys think and if it is worth getting:D Any feedback/help is greatly appreciated:smileybounce:

PS: I play with low A tuning (low A, D, F#, B) because it rocks:D

I will say that the above post is costumer service.

On a side note, I have heard the honus and they sound great. I also think that the wood that is used on the honus is superb and is better quality than you get on a factory production from your Hawaiian makers. Apparently the owner of Honus owns a Koa harvest company and he gets first pick of the Koa before the other makers come to him. The Honu is made in Vietnam (I think or maybe Java) but the quality is great. Well worth the price.
