Hello there,
I've just finished my new soprano ukulele which was given to me by a friend luthier. I used tung oil for neck finish. Compared to my other ukuleles (Ohana TK-20CE and Oscar Schmidt OU2) the neck is way easier to play - the surface does not stuck my hand when it's a bit sweaty and my hand can smoothly go up and down the neck - there is no friction between my hand and the neck whatsoever.
Do you guys have any experience you can share considering the neck finish method? Most of ukes I have seen in a shop (mostly entry level ukuleles) are finished like my Ohana is.
Thanks
