I had about 2 1/2 ft(I guess, I don't measure anything) of red oak 2x2 left over from one of my CBG's and I decided to make me a fretted CBuke. I've had this Davidoff Special Reserve boxes that I really couldn't decide on what I wanted to do with so it's gonna be a Electric CBuke with either a Piezo(if I wanna go cheap) or lace slim pickup(if I wanna splurge).

I would like to know where I can buy a miter box style fret guide either for a soprano or a tenor(haven't decided that either, hence the long neck). I'd like to have a Uke in low G tuning. She's gonna have metal strings so it'll be geared tuners.

Hopefully it'll come out great, the box has pretty grain on the back and I'd love to try my hand at a french polish with maybe even a sunburst on the back. Who knows?

I'll post back here with my progress.

EDIT: Maybe I'll make a Bass uke with Pahoehoe strings and the piezo. I need to go to bed before anything else gets done to this project.
