As things are a bit quiet on the BU front I decided to have a crack at a uke sort of. This is the result. Rimu back and sides, Tasmanian Blackwood top, fretboard and headstock. Rosewood bridge, heel cap and fretboard markers. I might make some for my grand-kids.
Sounds nice and mellow to my banjo uke ears. :D

very nice and unusual. But I really want a photo of your banjo uke ears!

Cute little sucker. Looks like it could be a little "banjo uke" inspired! Wondering how it sounds.

Sounds like a ukulele, which is fortunate :). Inspiration? Fluke, Bill Donaldson's Youthalele, Pete Howlett's Marmite, lots of inspiration on this site, enough for a couple of lifetimes.
