Where is the sweet spot on your uke?

So I'm playing this old Gibson soprano, and thinking, hmmm, this one's a little quiet. Then I moved my right hand over the soundhole, and there it was. Loud, sweet tone. Clarity and volume.

Out of habit I was strumming over the neck joint where it usually sounds best to me so it took me a while to bring out the best in this one, but there it is! Right over the soundhole. Sweet spot.
 
I find that it's usually halfway between the nut and the saddle and slightly below that point
 
My wife found my ukulele sweet spot: in the master bedroom closet (if it's too cold to go to the doghouse).
