Banjo Ukulele

What are your thoughts on the banjo ukulele? Do you have other favorite ukulele hybrid instruments?

I like it, but not as a primary instrument. There are folk who really play one with power, and for them it's super. I also play tenor banjo and use my banjoleke as a practice instrument substitute when I don't want to drag out the banjo which is significantly heavier than the banjolele.

The BanjoUke is great. It means I can play a "banjo" as well as a Uke. Definitely not for all songs but sounds great for the songs it really suits.
