Hi, dusty crew !
See here my just finished Grand Concert koa.
406 mm. scale, 13th fret neck joining.
Cedar neck, with carbon heavy duty tube rod stringer,
rosewood fingerboard, mandolin frets.
Top Fan brace 3 pieces.
Radiused back, 2 braces.
French finish with Danish Oil.
Old ivory saddles.
Rosewood crossing strings bridge.

Yes, stringer in neck, a 6 mm. heavy duty carbon tube,
glued with epoxy.
See on my web site pics if wanted.
Brasilian cedar isn't a hard wood,
even the opposite.
And my ukes necks are very fine, with minimal thickness, like fingerboard ( 2.9 mm. thick)
Avoid bending and twist,
and give a little more sustain, better response.
My choice, not THE choice.

Yes Jim, Grand Concert is realy a good choice is you are in these sizes ukes.
Sorry, no order.
Now, time for me short scale building.
Mezzo soprano - 363 mm scale, and real soprano's following.
