What's the scale length?

This looks a lot like my 50's era Harmony baritone. The grain pattern on the headstock as well as the bridge match mine identically. Also the nut has the same kinda overlap groove thing going on where you almost pop the strings into the groove. In my collection the nut style is unique to the Harmony.

I could be wrong, but if it is a Harmony, it would be the best $100 bucks you ever spent. I love mine. The sound is just lovely. Great playability, the neck just has an awesome feel to it.

Interesting, I guess I was wrong. My bad. I've seen Harmony's with the crown headstock before but their old catalogs show the Bari's with a flat headstock. http://www.catfish1952.com/harmony.html

Thanks for the visual, it really shows the difference.

Is that tortoise binding I see on the inside of your soundhole, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? (on the Harmony)

Good luck with the sale.

Beer gladly accepted. Toddler knocked over my Weihenstephaner in my funky old stein last night. Apparently she was attracted to its glowing presence in the middle of our kitchen table. Grr!!

That said... looks pretty legit to me. :D
