"Formby" if you're talking about da man. "Formsby" if you are spelling-challenged or the name itself is a parody.
 
The first video is very clearly a parody. And yes, George did search for LSD in "Under the Blasted Oak," but he was searching for money, not drugs-- "L.S.D" being popular shorthand for Pounds, Shillings, and Pence.
 
Aha! The CIA didn't sanction LSD "Experimentation", until 1953. So I thought the proposed premise unlikely. Your explanation clinches that. It was odd that George was playing several different ukuleles as well. Thank you much.
