That's what a big postcard sent to UBA said, anyway.

The postcard came from Troubadour Music.

About the clunkiest thing I've ever seen on a ukulele.

I have one of these, I got one for my dad who suffers with pretty bad arthritis and one for me so I could show him a few things. Yeah it's clunky but if it's the difference in him being able to play and not being able to play then I'm all for it.

What is it exactly? Is that like a chord buddy for the guitar?

I saw you mention it the other day, Ukelogo. I may buy one for my Dad - I think it's pretty nifty if it works well.

oddly... maccaferri had one of these called a chordmaster as an accessory to the old plastics.

Yeah pretty much that. I wouldn't say it's perfect, but for someone like my dad - it's pretty much his only option and I'd rather him have a go with it than just cross ukulele of his list of things to occupy his time. I actually made a little video today about it where I show it off a bit.

This could really be great for my dad too. He has issues with mobility and his arms and has struggled mightily with trying to play ukulele. Thanks for posting about it!

No worries, give the video a watch it's over on my site (you might need to search) but it should give you an idea about what its like.
