I recently wanted to experiment with other instruments. Tried this one and I'm hooked instantly! This is a cocobolo ukulele. Solid cocobolos back, sides, top, fingerboard and the headstock overlay. Everything is cocobolo. The grain looks very interesting, it got me so intrigued that I am ordering another tenor size, this time with a more fancy rosette and binding all around. I'm loving the warm mellow tone of this little fella ! :D

Congradulations on your new ukulele. It looks great! Welcome to UU. You find it a good source for Uke info and general Uke related stress relief

Congrats. On the demos, they sound great.

Congrats on your Cocobolo! I have a Cocobolo with the mahogany top and I love it! You did well on your first pick.

Congrats - I just got #183 yesterday from Kevin. I need to post some pics. I Love their necks.

Enjoy it. They are unique.

That's a very nice first uke! (Better than my first, by a long shot.)

Looks lovely!

Thanks for the warm welcome :D

I'm from Sydney, Australia and there aren't all that many choices when it comes to ukes. I'm grateful I found this place! I'm still trying to learn all the chords the E chord is killing me!

I did a little vid about the E and D chords awhile back. It might help our new found friend from Sydney!

If you play guitar- try making the E by using the a bar chord shape.

Today I bought a cute little tweed case to go with my new Uke !

Welcome aboard ... and Nice Uke! Would be interested in a sound sample of the Tenor uke when you get it.

Your uke really looks great! :)

WoW!! Love that uke and case. Welcome aboard too!

Welcome to UU! And congratulations on the Cocobolo! What a great 1st ukulele! I love the colors of the wood, the way they sound, and the radiused fretboard. I would like a longer neck, though. I think a gloss finish would look gawdawful gorgeous!
