It was a good day in ukulele workshop land until late in the day (tired, a little annoyed, cocktail hour approaching) when things went a little wrong. Little mistakes began to pile up. It wasn't physical mistake so much as mental. At this point I thought about Pele, the volcano goddess of Hawaii. Now I'm not Hawaiin and I mean no disrespect, but sometimes I think Pele takes an interest in my instruments and she can be tough that Pele. I'm putting the following picture up in my shop. Pulling an ukulele from the fire.
