These old Silvertone baritones, and the Harmonys that they are cloned from, are fantastic ukes. Good solid mahogany, great tone, built in Chicago. I love mine (see it in my avatar?). Good opportunity for someone looking to take the vintage bari plunge!

(The Captain is a good seller, too, I've dealt with him before. A good uke from an honest guy! How can you go wrong?)

I cant speak for the old baritones but my 20's 30's Harmony soprano with that old solid mahogany has the most bark out of all my ukes.

could you elaborate on the intonation? what do you think would improve it? what is the action like. I had an old Harmony that was unplayable because the neck had a good bow and the saddle could go no lower.
