You need to tape up the sound hole so mice won't make a nest inside. That is what I do with all the ukes I store outside. :nana:

That is one beautiful Koaloha. She deserves to have the sun on her face and the wind at her back. She was born in the outdoor aloha spirit, to keep her inside would be cruel.

Did you see the little knitted hats you could buy it for those really chilly days? They're in Shameless Self Promotion.

Thanks Dave, got it at the aloha tower store. It kinda freaked me out just to set it there.

Don't tape up the sound hole! It would make a great bluebird house!!

:D Why, they'd um . . . just . . . um . . .well, I can picture one standing on the strings and pulling them apart with their little feet and sneaking in! AND it would sound nice when they let go of the strings! Door bell! :D

With just a few slight modifications, you could turn it into a squirrel feeder for the duration of storage... The hole is the perfect size.
