Thanks, Phil. Appreciate your words. It's true! This is a great deal on a solid wood (cedar top/rosewood back and sides) soprano w/ new hardcase. Makai makes wonderful ukes. It sounds just as good as it looks. Hope someone decides to go for it...they'll be glad they did.

If I didn't already have a cedar top rosewood soprano I'd be all over this one. Nice clean look. Mine has a real bark!

Every Makai I've played so far has had a very nice sound and solid build. I would reccomend this brand and this is a steal, plus insured next day! What could be better. I still haven't found "the soprano" that grabs me yet and if I had the bucks I'd give this a try BTW my stage name is MamaUke
