Structural Concern?

It's structural in the sense that your uke's neck wasn't carved out of one piece of wood but rather made by stacking wood at the heel end (with glue, of course) to build it up to the right thickness. So it's part of your uke's structure.

Whether it's a problem or not, I dunno, but I don't think so. Assuming it was glued properly in the first place, I can't think of why it would be coming apart unless you're grabbing the neck and pushing/pulling it for the whammy bar effect.
