An Aloha Christmas ~ an original song

Now that's a cute tune, right there. I loved it! I don't suppose you'd post the lyrics and chords? ;)

Thanks VegasGeorge- so glad you liked it. I'm very proud of it.
Chords are simple- Hawaiian turnaround at the beginning and the end. G/E7/A7/D7/G
Lyrics:
I'm dreaming of a "white sandy beach" kind of Christmas
I want to say Mele Kalikimaka on Christmas day
String colored lights and hang ornaments from a palm tree
Watch hula dancers as the leaves of coconut sway.

My Santa wears an aloha shirt and flip flops
Thoughts of presents make the keikis smile.
My Christmas wreath is made of shells and driftwood
And my Christmas feast will be served up Island style.

I want to sit on the beach and play my ukulele
As the tropical sun shines in a bright blue sky
And ocean waves crash up upon the seashore
While the humuhumunukunukuapua'a go swimming by.

I'm dreaming of an "Aloha"kind of Christmas-
I want to say Mele Kalikimaka on Christmas day.

Original song...impressive!

Excellent! Have you written a chord sheet. I'd love to play that.
And I see you have a Kamaka soprano now? A new one from your holiday in Hawaii? Niiice!
Have a great Xmas and a happy new year Myrna!

Words and chords posted above - chords are quite easy- simply G/E7/A7/D7/G with the Hawaiian turnaround at beginning and end.
And yes, it's a beautiful Gold Label Kamaka (which I bought on EBay last year but sent off to the Kamaka folks for some repairs so it was a year in the queue).
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year full of joy and music!

Thanks coolkayaker - I am quite proud of it. It came to me one sleepless night on the Big Island a couple of weeks ago. Now that I'm back in Alaska (with a blizzard going on as I type) I am really dreaming of an Aloha Christmas! Next year for sure.
