Just ordered a couple of tees off of Jake's web site. Yeah, yeah, ... subject line made you think he gave me the shirt off his back, eh?! Lol

He is such a nice guy wouldn't doubt he'd do that.

But I went for the 50% off special they're running right now (just put 50off in the coupon code box when you order).

I'm such a shameless fan gurl! Got a blue and a yellow Jake uke tee.

Those shirts are neat! Which one did you get? I like the green one. I also like that USB keychain.

Yeah, green is cool.

I got a blue Grand Uke Tour and the mustard colour Uke Nation tee.

Tried to hold off earlier in the month but the discount for apparel just kept getting better.

Yeah, it's a good discount. I'd be buying a couple, too, if I wasn't saving for a uke.

Wow! I am really appreciative of this thread. Because of it, I went to Jake's website and discovered he's coming here to Vegas in March to play at our new Smith Center for the performing arts. I bought two tickets! If it hadn't been for this thread, I'd have missed it. :shaka:

That's brilliant, George!

I so wish I could see Jake in person some day.

He's coming to Canada in 2015 but Ontario is a long way from BC!

Thanx for the heads up about Jake in Vegas, George.
That time should coinside with the wifes Vegas fix. Could you please steer me to the ticket site?

Fretie- Being from Kimberley in the East Kootenays, it takes longer to get to Vancouver than to Vegas. Just cross the border and take a cheap flight, get a cheap casino room, a taxi and there's Jake!!! Sounds easy, eh? Just a thought. Gary.

I like your thinking, Gary!

Tickets can be sought through Jake's site: http://jakeshimabukuro.com/

Thanks for the link Vegas George and Fretie.
I fly to Vegas from Kalispell Montana, and did some peliminary inquiries. The carrier departs on the Sunday at 7.45 am which for me is ugly. Maybe shoot the gap between the show and flight. Catch a little sleep on the plane. It's still a little early to finalize plans for me. Happy New Year and the best of ukin to all.

Oh I thought Fretie you were talking about Jake the uke builder...what was I thinking.. too early I presume... :)
