This is my first try at bending sides. I everything went ok until I took them out of the jig . The grain on the side raised up like a sliver on the lower bout . My question is can it be glued back down with super glue or epoxy. And will it show under the finish. I am planning on using tru oil for the finish. I hope its not a total loss.

A photograph would be helpful. It sounds like the grain has fractured. You might make a caul for both sides, place wax paper between each caul and the side after working glue into the fracture. Clamp tight. I would use titebond.

What Gary said. Cracks along the grain often heal invisibly. Cracks across the grain hardly ever do, though you still might be able to use them (strength-wise).
