I own a treasured Rob Collins soprano,and praise both
it and the builder, at every opportunity. Rob and his
'Tinguitar' brand are worth checking out,and everyone
should own one (I.M.O)!

I wonder what are the advantages of electric uke over acoustic ones? I am relatively new the uke playing so excuse me if this is a dumb question...
 
If you are plugging a solid-body or chambered solid-body uke into an amp to play with others in a band, you'd not experience feedback issues that plague acoustic ukes with pick-ups.
 
Chenx - purely down to some of the stuff I was playing on stage - effects pedals, overdrive and volume - less feedback
