I have a friend I collaborate with that lives about 4 hours away (there is a cool venue in her town we like to perform at). She suggested covering Flaws by Bastille a few days before I was headed over; I initially wasn't sure how I was going to write a good uke arrangement (there's quite a bit going on in the song) but I got to work, played with my looping pedal a bit, and came up with this.
We sent parts to each other and practiced on our own as best as we could. On the day we were going to perform, we only had time to rehearse for maybe 10 minutes in a narrow hallway, tangled in cables and headphones (to hook us up to my looping pedal) before we were supposed to be on stage, and we hoped for the best. I think it went pretty well. I'd love to get some feedback from you guys!
