I think this is the uke: Nutsco 3K. The player is Tominaga Hiroyuki, who is in a Japanese band called Banban Bazar. You can probably find more recordings of their stuff out there.

Yeah, that's different for the uke eh? Maybe post of video of yourself flat picking?

Nice. His band is great too. They must be well known. The video I watched appears to be them live at the Newport Jazz Fest. Thanks for IDing the uke too. I like its sound a lot.
