Available for sale or trade is a Martin C1K in excellent condition. Two things to note:

The last two instrument pictures have some captions, so please read them, but in a nutshell, there is a slight discoloration which could be covered with a finish. It doesn't feel like a chip.

The second is a tiny bump in the headstock, which is more noticeable by feel as compared to look. It is still smooth to the hand with no rough edges, but you can feel it. Neither of these affect anything and I want you to know all. These issues were there when it was purchased.

A silver pin was added to the bottom.

The reason I am selling, is redundancy. I have been playing a few months now. When I buy & sell, I know more about what I want and can get closer to "THE ONE".

The Uke was checked out by a local music store (not a chain) and given a good bill of health. Low action and great playability.

Price is $375 CONUS. References upon request. It will be packed well. I will ship the day of the order if it is early or the next day. (I always reduce the tension on the strings for shipping.)

Those who know me know I take care of my stuff.

Thanks for reading.

Good luck with the sale. My C1K is a really nice player. This will be a good deal for someone.

Hi Rappsy,
Would you say this uke is loud? I know this is subjective and apologize for that. But can the uke be heard easily with singing? Or feel free to compare volume with other ukes you've played.
Thanks for your time, I've been looking at these but haven't had the chance to play one!

There is a fair amount of volume coming from the Martin. The strings will make a big difference, and the Martins seem to have a fair amount of it. The best example I can give you is to refer you to this great video where the Martin is compared to the KoAloha concert, which is known as a sound cannon, and it holds up very well, even though the KoAloha is 2x as expensive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdPv23dqthw
