Just had an offer from an old friend to swap his twelve year old immaculate tenor Kamaka for my one year old Koalloha ktm tenor ,,I imagine for most of you you would have an instant comment ,,I must admit I am tempted but can a uke that age be a good swap ? To be honest the Koaloha is not my main player my Blackbird Clara is ,,,,followed by my Vox

Having had experience with both Koaloha and Kamaka, I'd take the swap in a second if the Kamaka is really in immaculate condition.

I think I would do it. If it's been played regularly over the years, it would have a nice mature sound to it, but you have to decide if you like the sound better. I would think the Kamaka would be worth more down the road.

Thanks Guys for advice looks like I will go for it
