I recently purchased a baritone ukulele, and have never played one before. It's tuned DGBE, which I'm not used to (my tenor's tuned re-entrant, and I don't play guitar). Can anyone point me toward a good resource for baritone uke chords?

Just look at guitar chord shapes, and omit the top two strings...

Chord shapes on the Baritone guitar are exactly the same chord shapes on a re entrant tenor/soprano/concert ukulele, however, the actual notes/chords played are different.

For example, a C chord (soprano) played on a Baritone is a G chord.
Notice the gap between the two chords, 7 semitones up or 5 semitones down.

A F (soprano) chord is a B on a Baritone. (7 up or 5 down).

I'm sure that you get the general idea and can work out the rest for yourself. :)

To put it another way, you can play all the music you are used tp playing on a different sized uke, in exactly the same way on your baritone. It will sound fine, but you'll be playing in a different key.

Ukantor.
