I received my Creedy tenor ukulele tonight, made by luthier Gary Creed of Salem, VA. Cedar top, walnut b/s, mahogany and walnut neck, all solid wood. It's his 59th build, named "Star Dust." It's pretty...and it's pretty loud!10620285_10204888772552156_9045343501925060449_o.jpg10842270_10204888799872839_616723022647595621_o.jpg10953954_10204888771112120_7266932967864397529_o.jpg10924667_10204888771352126_5718925222712662965_o.jpg10926190_10204888772592157_8554910618818094944_o.jpg

Beautiful how the used the mohogany and walnut in the neck, to go along with the use of sap wood on the back.

Looks like a wonderful instrument you have there!!

Would you mind giving us a 'full frontal' pic?

Thanks. Just added the front pic. Not used to this forum...

I have one of Gary's baritones and its a beautiful sounding instrument. It is by far my favorite instrument even tho I have more expensive ones by more renown luthiers. Enjoy!

Congratulations Dave, looking very nice!

Thank you!

Well, you need to get active! You've been a member for quite some time it looks like.

I joined when I bought a beginner uke a few years ago and never got involved. That may change...

He gives them away (practically). It's a labor of love for him, apparently. All of my other instruments (a dreadnought, a Tele and a bass) were mass-produced in Asia, and they're great for what they are, but this uke is a piece of folk art. And it's LOUD. ;)

I'd love to hear a sound sample. The ones I saw for sale are shockingly cheap for a handmade instrument. They look gorgeous!

Very nice looking Uke. Can you describe its sound or better post a small sound sample. Does he have a web site line?
Contratulations!

Congratulations! I especially like the two tone neck, and the blonde colored saddle, which is unusual. Mighty fine lookin uke!
