As agate can't be sanded, you have to inlay it very close to perfectly flush or just under the surface if you are (as i am) sealing it with ca glue

more pics- one here shows the moon on the face inlaid flush and the white purfling has been pre sealed in pre for the dye job.

How it looks so far, front and back- im still ca grain filling/leveling- this is tricky with all that colour- if i sand through, its back to square 1.


Back is oak burl (with mini burst) i bought in Australia.
Front is curly oregon myrtle base followed by alot of stuff.
